We are hiring for a highly motivated IT Desk Support Officer in United Arab Emirates. If you are an experienced IT Support Officer it is your chance now to work in United Arab Emirates.

The IT Help Desk Support will be the first point of contact for all hospital staff requiring technical assistance related to IT systems, hardware, software, and networks. This role ensures timely resolution of issues, provides excellent customer service, and contributes to the smooth operation of IT services critical to patient care and hospital operations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first-level support for all IT-related incidents and service requests (via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person).
  • Register IT Asset Items, allocate and Deliver to End-Users, return IT assets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues for hospital staff, including clinical systems (e.g., EMR/EHR, PACS, HIS, LIS).
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Assist with user account management (creation, password resets, permission changes) in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Provide support for hospital-specific applications and ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards (e.g., HL7, HIPAA/HITECH where applicable).
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support or relevant technical teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and processes in the IT service management system (e.g., ).
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and health checks on IT infrastructure.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of telemedicine systems, patient monitoring devices, and smart hospital technologies.
  • Educate hospital staff on IT policies, best practices, and the proper use of systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
Experience
  • 5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a healthcare or large enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with hospital IT systems (e.g., EMR/EHR, PACS, HIS).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified
  • Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent (preferred).
